Privacy Policy
The short version: we collect what we need to get you to an event and tell you if something changes. We don't sell your information to anyone, ever.
Who we are
This site is operated by Holly Ridge Events and Experiences, LLC ("Holly Ridge," "we," "us"), based in Prescott, Arizona. What we collect, and why
We only collect information you type into a form on this site. We do not buy lists and we do not scrape anything.
- When you RSVP to an event: your name, email address, how many people you're bringing, and your phone number if you choose to give it. We use this to confirm your spot, send you the details, and tell you if the date, time or weather changes.
- When you send an inquiry or ask about a private event: your name, email, phone, what you're planning, and whatever you tell us in the message. We use it to reply to you.
- When you apply to be a vendor: your name, business name, contact details, what you make, and any photos or documents you upload. We use it to review your application, tell you either way, and, if you're approved, send you booth details and a payment link.
- When you ask to be notified about a future date: your email address, and which experience you're waiting on.
- When you buy a ticket: your name, email, and order details. Payment card details are entered directly with our payment processor and are never sent to, seen by, or stored by us.
Text messages
If you tick the box asking us to text you, we may send you event reminders, schedule and weather changes, and occasional announcements about Holly Ridge events. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe, or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is never a condition of buying anything or attending anything.
We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or your SMS consent with third parties for marketing purposes. Your number is used by us, to talk to you, about our events. Nobody else gets it, not our vendors, not our venues, not our sponsors.
You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP, or by emailing us. Withdrawing text consent does not remove you from email; those are separate, and you can leave either one on its own.
If you opt in to email, we'll send you event announcements and reminders. Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom that works immediately. We use it ourselves to check it works.
Who else handles your information
We use a small number of service providers to actually run the site and our messaging. They process your information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes:
- Netlify, hosts this website and receives form submissions.
- GoHighLevel (LeadConnector), our customer management system; it stores contact records and sends our email and text messages.
- Google Maps, some event pages embed a map so you can find the venue. Loading that map involves Google.
- Payment processors, where an event is ticketed or a booth fee is due, payment is handled by a processor such as Stripe or Square. They handle the card details; we receive only the confirmation and your order.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it. That is the only other circumstance.
Cookies and tracking
We do not run advertising cookies, and we do not use third-party analytics to profile you across the internet. Our customer management system sets a small identifier so that a form you submit is attached to the right contact record rather than creating duplicates. Your browser's settings control cookies if you'd rather block them; the site still works.
How long we keep it
We keep contact records for as long as you're someone who might want to hear from us, and then we remove them on request. Vendor application records and payment records are kept longer, because we need them for our own business and tax records. If you ask us to delete you, we will, except where we're legally required to keep a record of a transaction.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email holly@hollyridgeevents.com. We're a small team, not a call centre, you'll get a person.
Children
Our events are family events and we love having kids there. But this website is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us their information, email us and we'll remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant and we have your email, we'll tell you.
